Land Acknowledgement
The Municipality of Tweed recognizes that our work takes place on traditional Indigenous territories including the Huron-Wendat, Anishnaabe, and the Haudenosaunee peoples.
We recognize and respect the history, languages, and cultures of the First Nations, Metis, Inuit and all Indigenous peoples whose presence continues to enrich our communities.

Purpose of Special Meeting

 

The purpose of the Special Meeting is to hold a Closed Meeting under Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2002, c.25, as amended, to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;
and labour relations or employee negotiations.

Council will hold a Closed Meeting during the Special Council Meeting pursuant to Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, to consider the following matter(s):
(b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;
(d) labour relations or employee negotiations.
