Call to Order and Land Acknowledgement

Land Acknowledgement
The Municipality of Tweed recognizes that our work takes place on traditional Indigenous territories including the Huron-Wendat, Anishnaabe, and the Haudenosaunee peoples.
We recognize and respect the history, languages, and cultures of the First Nations, Metis, Inuit and all Indigenous peoples whose presence continues to enrich our communities.

Purpose of Special Meeting

The purpose of the Special Meeting is to hold a Closed Meeting under Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, to consider the following matter(s):
(b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.

Council of the Municipality of Tweed to appoint Cathy Bradley, Clerk of the County of Hastings, to act as Clerk during the closed session meeting being held on Thursday October 17, 2024.
